CompeteFor is a website that enables businesses to compete for contract opportunities linked to London 2012 and other major public and private sector buying organisations.
The online portal began as a tool to give the business community access to supply chain opportunities generated by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). It is now being used by a number of wider public sector organisations to help SMEs benefit from the tens of thousands of contracts generated by government spend.
The website matches buyers and suppliers throughout government supply chains, giving businesses free access and transparency to suitable contracts.
CompeteFor also provides access to focused business support, to help build skills and capacity and boost the long-term competitiveness of businesses up to and beyond the London 2012 Games. CompeteFor is working with Business Link to provide this service.
Any business can register. It’s easy, free of charge and only needs to be done once to apply for thousands of contract opportunities.
