Sterling Relocation
Sterling Relocation was awarded a contract with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) to provide relocation services for employees in the run up to the 2012 Games.
Founded in 1991, Sterling is a privately owned, international and domestic relocation service. The West London based company was one of Europe’s first integrated moving and relocation services companies and now has developed offices worldwide.
As an international relocation company, Sterling thought that the London 2012 Games could be a great business opportunity and they contacted LOCOG directly to offer their services. After LOCOG informed them that any contracts would be tendered through CompeteFor, Sterling immediately registered on the website.

Having secured the contract, Sterling currently works with the Human Resources department at LOCOG to provide a single point of contact for all employees who are re-locating to London. They not only help families with the physical packing and moving of household items into the UK but also offer assistance with house hunting, school searches and general orientation to the area.
Oliver is positive about their experience. ‘CompeteFor worked really well for us. We found the whole process from registering to tendering to be very seamless and logical.
